non-contact milling of materials

Scientific-Productive Complex "Edem", Kyiv, studies a perspective technology of Non-Contact Milling of Materials (NCM) for materials of various degree of hardness with the purpose of assimilation it in Ukrainian industry.
The technology NCM is protected in Ukraine by patents ¹ 10148, ¹ 10149 of Ukraine and a patent ¹ 2100082 of Russia as" A Method of Refinement of Materials in a Stream of an Energy Supplier and a Device for Rotational Milling ".

The equipment to be produced using the technology NCM will be able to provide finely divided powders of materials that have a various degree of hardness, including superrigid materials.

General characteristic of an installation using the technology NCM.

Energy supplier
Oblate gas(Air)
Gas flow rate under pressure from 2 up to 6 atm, ì3/h
60 - 250
Size of a source material, no more than, mm
5
Size of crushed partiñles, micron
0,15 - 100
Rough size of an installation, mm
1000õ3500õ2500

The productivity of an installation is determined by characteristic of a source material and a required productivity of an installation.
SPC "Edem" can consider a technical request on creation of the equipment in which the technology NCM will ensure production of powders with predetermined physical parameters, and also can share in organization of joint production on deriving new kinds of production on basis of finely divided powders.
