The project "Chisel Chain Tool'' has been elaborating since 1996.The construction of a new chisel chain tool is based on principle of changing rock-destroying elements directly in a working face without upheaval of a tool on the Earth's surface. It is licensed in Ukraine in name of SPC "Edem" as "Milkovitsky's Chisel Chain Tool" with priority from 96.01.29. This chisel chain tool can provide highly productive boring of super deep wells. The novelty of the chisel chain tool consists in realization of destruction of rock in a working face by links of "a continuous chain". The links are armed with inserts of a cutting and abrading type. In a working face there are constantly three chain links that destroy rock. When the inserts are worked out, drilling rate is decreasing. For substitution of the inserts, it needs an insignificant vertical replacement of a chisel string hill up. As a result of this process, another group of chain links with new rock destroying elements is created in a working section of a chisel tool. Thus, two or three or more drilling are possible (it depends upon construction of a tool) without upheaval of a drilling tool from a working face. A possibility of substitution of a cutting-type inserts in a working face, without its hoisting on a surface, allows to increase the entire drilling time balance up to 5 - 8 %, if chisel tools of other types are applied. If "Milkovitsky's Chisel Chain Tool" is applied, the balance increases up to 70 - 80 %. The chisel tool also ensures drilling of rock at temperature 350 - 400 0C with a superior drilling rate more than two times exceeding the drilling rate of chisel tools of other types. The drilling of super-deep wells can be applied in such branches of industry as exploration and mining of gas, petroleum. It can also be used for creation of storage places for chemical and nuclear wastes near chemical plants and nuclear power stations. SPC "Edem" proposes cooperation in organizing projects, fabrications, and trials of the chisel chain tool patterns and their implementation. The rough calculating of time for projecting and fabrication of the chisel chain tool with 18-armed inserts is 6 - 8 months. More information is given to potential customers and investors.
