| The project "EDEMAG'' presupposes elaboration of technology of bishofit's usage for making building materials of industrial and solid domestic wastes. The usage of properties of a magnesian astringent raw, caustic magnesite, lies in the basis of this technology. A magnesian astringent raw is made with the help of chloride magnesium (natural bishofit). The deriving of a new building material is done in one technological stream, in which milled wastes with a magnesian astringent raw are mixed in definite proportions. Magnesian concrete is made of milled wastes with the help of bishofit. The concrete poured into the applicable shapes of building constructions (brick, girder, string etc.) hardens in 48 hours and turns into synthetic rock. Moreover, solidification is one of the most effective methods of rendering harmless wastes of different types, including toxic. The technology of recycling of different kinds of wastes - building, manufacturing and domestic- will allow to solve the problem of storage for wastes. The building materials manufactured with the help of a magnesian astringent raw have a series of advantages that can attribute this technology to the category of new technologies. The following features can be ascribed to the advantages of the above-mentioned technology: - Simplicity of fabrication of building materials of any size and configuration; - Binding of organic elements of a filling agent, including toxic, which is ensured by chemical components of magnesite and bishofit (MgCl2); - No necessity in heat treatment of a received material and its pressing under high pressure; - Possibility of getting up to 600 and more types of concrete; - Low thermal conductivity; - Frost resistance.
